“BORN AND RAISED IN MOSCOW, RUSSIA. MY LIFE WAS ALWAYS CRUISING AROUND ART, MUSIC AND TRAVEL. TWO YEARS AGO I MOVED TO LONDON AND STARTED AN ARCHITECTURAL COURSE AT THE ARCHITECTURAL ASSOCIATION SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE, ALONGSIDE PRODUCING MY OWN ARTWORK AND MUSIC. WHAT BROUGHT ME INTO PHOTOGRAPHY? PEOPLE.

People who somehow differ from society, people who have their own voice, which is translated through their style. The majority of the time those people were complete strangers but this is why I love street photography: you end up meeting so many different authentic people. Film photography makes this experience even more precious because it’s not about perfecting the image, it’s about what or who is in front of you. I love capturing something which in society takes term ‘imperfection’, because I find so called ‘imperfections’ perfect. When I met Oscar for the first time he looked like he came straight from the 90’s. So confident, young and rebellious. His attitude is also complimented with charm and charisma which shine bright within each photograph.”
